    Cool Kill from a close distance

    Hi,

    When someone use a gunfire and shoot another person from a very close distance, we say in French "Tirer bout portant". (= To shoot from a carrying edge) Do you have a similar term in English?

    shoot from 'point blank range'

    so close he/she had powder burns
