    Talking 8 hours behind?

London is 1pm now and Hong Kong is 9pm now. Is it correct to say "London is 8 hours behind Hong Kong"?
    Thanks.

From our point-of-view it's more common to say 'HK is 8 hrs ahead of London', but either is correct.
