    Question "of" or "in"

    Which preposition is appropriate?
    1. I go to offer prayers in the mosque in my neighbourhood.
    2. I go to offer prayers in the mosque of my neighbourhood.

Or what could be the best substitute please?
    Best regards!

    Dawood, I would prefer:

'Mosque IN my neighbourhood'. I would because I would see the noun mosque as I would car, house, tree, etc. All IN.

Thanks a lot. You've been very knid.
I also doubt whether "in the mosque" is correct or should that be "to the mosque'?
    Best regards!

Apologies, I hadn't noticed that...actually it should be 'offers prayers AT the mosque in my neighbourhood'.
