    Years

Why is a s added to year? What is the grammer meaning?
Example: He thinks this years order will be late.

    Thank you,
    D

    Re: Years

It's a possessive; notice that it should have an apostrophe before the s:
    This year's order

It means that it is the order that belongs to this year.
