    What's that swamp around a castle again?

    A "moat" can be found around a castle, but it is not always a swamp. It can be a nice area of water, but it is defined as a trench around a castle.

    A swamp is something else.

    Thanks! Well, I've got nothing so nice to describe it and so I used swamp. Yes, it's a moat. Somebody asked me about it last night and the term slipped my mind that I need someone else to remind me.
