    ing / for / to / having what is the correct word?

    Hello my friends:


    I'm so sorry ......... the tea on your carpet

    1. for spilling
    2. for spill
    3. to spill
    4. having spilled


    what is the correct? and why ? =) can someone link me something where can i study the grammatic behing this period ?
