    Post corrections need

The bellow letter is for a secretary. Would you please help me to write it out?

    Dear Lin,

I noted that the first toilet (from the right) in the women's washroom on the fourth floor of the east building is slightly leaking water at the bottom of the toilet. People are still using it so, I wonder if you can call the maintence to fix the problem before it becomes totally useless.

Thank you very for your help.

    Linda

    Re: corrections need

Thank you very much for your reply.

I would like to ask you one more question. Here "I have noted" is present pecfect sentence and "I noted" is simple past tense. Does "have noted" makes the sentence more accurate or it has anyother meaning in that particular sentence? Pleasle explain the difference. THANK YOU.

    Re: corrections need

    Hi,
Is "I have noted" a common usage? What about "I have noticed"? Are they equally good?
    Thanks,
    JC
