    I like English

    Dear sirs,

I am posting my question here. Can someone explain this "lie-detector" for me?

The original sentence is Walton has passed a "lie-detector" test more than once.

    Thanks a lot.

Lie-detector is such an invention that allows to find out whether a person tells lies or truth. This mechanism reacts on human speech - intonation, pitch of voice etc. Lie-detector tests are often used by police in order to control witness speech.
