Which one is correct? If both are correct, what is the difference?
1. Flourescent clothing, which include such items as T-shirts, socks and shoelaces, were also popular.
2. Flourescent clothing, which include items such as T-shirts, socks and shoeslaces, were also popular.
I think the difference is here:
There's a certain sense that in #2 some of the clothing may not be considered as "items" while in #1 all the clothing would be "items."
What do you think of my explanation?
To me there is no difference in the sentences apart from word order. Both indicate that popular fluorescent clothing includes these items.
