I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
They are all grammatically correct. Numbers 1 and 3 would be the most common, since effort is usuially uncountable. I suspect most would use #1, because "time and effort" are often seen as one thing, but one could see them as separate things and use #3.Originally Posted by plemaire
