    idiom query

I felt sure there was and idiom that went something like, to run with the hounds and bark with the dogs but I don't seem to be able to find it. I thought it meant that it was someone who kind of pretends to be on one side of the fence but is really on the other but I am not sure and would like to find it so I know the precise meaning.

    Re: idiom query

To hunt with the hounds and run with the fox/hare/quarry = trying to support two opposing causes/aims at the same time
