    in the sentence "her younger brother hates tomatoes" what is the head of the first noun phrase??

    could someone please help asap i need to answer this question- what is the head noun in the first noun phrase of this sentence? "her younger brother hates tomatoes".

    Please be patient and try not to double post - someone always answers, but we are volunteers and have other things to do.

    The answer to this question is no - that is the verb. There is no post-modifier in your sentence.

    If the sentence had read "Her younger brother who is six hates tomatoes", "who is six" is a post-modifier. It is a phase following the subject noun, and modifying the noun.
