    Post It's home to gardens??

    In the following what is the meaning of "to"? and garden means an area of land with flower beds, lawns, trees doesn't it? I don't understand "home to gardens"

    <It's home to a diverse population and to computer firms, universities and gardens.>

    Yes, gardens has the usual meaning. It is home to = it is the home of; it hosts; it includes.
