    resuscitation

    Hi there,

Is it correct to say like this?

Doctors will apply cardiopulomary resuscitation to patients whose hearts stop suddenly.

    Is 'apply' correct?
Any colloquial or quick way to say cardiopulmonary resuscitation?

    Thanks
    pete

Doctors will apply/administer cardiopulomary resuscitation (CPR) to patients whose hearts stop suddenly/suffer cardiac arrest.

    Re: resuscitation

Informally, people will say that they know how to give CPR, or that another person got CPR after having a heart attack.
