Hello guys, could you explain what these sentences mean and gimme some examples?
a) get burned
He got burned.
b) in so far as
In so far as English is used, almost no one knows how to speak it fluently.
C) so much so that
She really upset me… so much so that I never spoke to her again.

1) He was pretending to be someone else, but he got burned, everyone found out who he was. It means he don't succeed.
They was trying to rob a bank, but he got burned. It means the bank manager had him under rest.
Am I right?
