    Questions

1)We had just finished writing the entire proposal to upgrade the facility and then the management threw us a curve by saying it was supposed to include all four sites

What does all four sites mean? I intepret this sentence as: We had just finished writing the proposal to upgrade the facility on one site and then the management asked them to write again and this time it includes all four sites, is that right?

2)She buttered_ up just before she told her supervisor that she needed the next five days off
can I fill in the blank with either he or she?

    Re: Questions

#1 Yes - you are right.

#2 Yes [him/her] - there is nothing in the sentence to indicate which it might be [unless the tester thinks you should use "them" ]
