    Attention: I'm not a teacher.

    Hi Peter1,2,3,

style = manner of writing (contrasted with the subject matter), general appearance, form or design, a customary manner of persenting printed material, including usage, punctuation, splling, typography, and arrangement.

genre = kind, category (esp. of literary form, eg poetry, drama, the novel)

genre - term derived from the French ord for "kind" or "variety", referring to a type of picture that show scenes from everyday life

genre = a category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, marked by a distinctive style, form or contents.

register = a variety of language used in a specific social setting: speaking in an informal register, writing in a scienific register.

lingvistic vocabulary, grammar, etc. used by speakers or writers in particular circumstances or contexts, eg. legal, commercial register.

tone = manner of expression in speech or writing
"Took angry tone with the reporters."

    Regards.
