    Proper sentence structure

    Is the following statement grammatically correct?

    In lieu of favors, a donation has been made to Earthjustice

    Earthjustice is spelled correctly!

    Do you mean:
    In lieu of flowers, a donation has been made to Earthjustice.

    Whether 'flowers' or 'favors' (American) - 'favours' (British), the grammar is correct.
