    Starting a paragraph

Is it proper to start paragraphs with""I"?

    Re: Starting a paragraph

No reason you shouldn't. The problem arises if it is used too often in a longish piece of writing, so that it starts to sound both monotonous, and as if the person is egocentric. It's like in school essays where the topic is 'discuss your opinion of something', and you see each paragraph down the page beginning with "I think.."
