    comparative

    Which are correct:

1-You are better than him and you know it. You are better than him exactly to extent that you think you are better than him.

2-You are better than him and you know it. You are better than him exactly to extent that you think.

3-You are better than him and you know it. You are better than him as much as you think you are better than him.

4-You are better than him and you know it. You are better than him as much as you think.

5-You are better than him and you know it. You are as much better than him as you think.

    Re: comparative

    None of these.

You are better than him and you know it means that you can have confidence in your skills/knowledge/whatever makes you better. There's no comparison.

    Re: comparative

"You are better than him and you know it" usually means "you are at a higher level than he is (intellectually, emotionally, educationally, financially, socially, etc) and you should (or better) realize that."
