    Roll - a small loaf of bread typically long and thin shaped such as that used for "hot dogs" (sausage in a bread roll)
    Role is what an actor assumes in a play.

    Stares - looks at intensely at someone/something
    Stairs are what you climb/curse when the lift/elevator (UK/US) is out of acti
