    Hello everyone
    I'd like to ask about the meaning of "appealing" in the following context:

    Do-ane stood on her toes to look outside. She seemed prettier when she was nervous, and rather more appealing.

    Does "appealing" mean "attractive" here, or does it imply that her look is touching, causing pity?

    Attractive seems more likely in this context.
