    Post which or where?

    Help me with these sentences:

_I recently went back to Paris ........ is still as beautiful as a pearl.
What is the right answer to fill in the blank? "Which" of "where"?

    _ I suggest that he ........ harder.
Which one is right? "work" or "works"?

_Bob is the kind of person(A) to him(B) one(C) can talk about(D) anything.
Which one is wrong (A,B,C or D)? Besides, please tell me why it is wrong and show me the way to correct the mistake.

    1 - which
    2 - works
3 - I did not quite understand what are the options but " Bob is the kind of person one can talk about anything" sounds correct to me.

2: either is possible; it depends what the suggestion is about. If you're suggesting a matter of fact ('I suggest [it is true that] he works harder'), then "works" is the only option. If you are suggesting a course of action (that he should work harder), either is possible.

3 You need a 'to' somewhere. I'm happier with "Bob is the kind of person one can talk to about anything", but there are teachers who would prefer the rather contrived (in my view) "Bob is the kind of person to whom one can talk about anything"; this ('to whom') may be the option preferred in some exams (unfortunately); check with your school.

Why use "which" , not " where"? Please.

    Without 'which', we would write:
I recently went back to Paris. Paris is still as beautiful as a pearl.
So, we are talking about the city of Paris itself, so we use the relative pronoun 'which'. 'which' is the impersonal relative pronoun, just as in the sentence, "The teacher is a man who cares about his students', 'who' is the personal pronoun referring to the whole person 'man'.
We would use 'where' in sentences such as:
I recently went back to Paris where the people are still as friendly as ever.
I recently went back to Paris where the Louvre museum...
I recently went back to Paris where they have now built a new Disneyland.

In these sentences, I am referring to the location, the place and its surroundings - they are located in Paris.
