    Bit(e) the wax tadpole

    What does it mean when someone says that they "bit the wax tadpole"? Is it basically the same thing as biting the bullet?

    I had never heard that one before ,
    but had a good laugh when I found out

    In Chinese , "Coca Cola" can be apparently read both as "bite the wax tadpole" or "female horse stuffed with wax."
    After considerable research, Coca Cola finally decided on using the Chinese equivalent to "happiness in your mouth" instead.
