    Talking Which is correct?

    When you want to know what game somebody likes most, what do you say?
    1. What game do you like most?
    2. Which game do you like most?

    I'm not a teacher, but I might use either one, depending on the context. If I was enquiring about the listener's gaming preference general, without offering any options, I might say "What game do you like most?" If I were to ask for a favourite from a list of games, then it might be something like: "Let's talk about cricket and baseball. Of those two, which game do you like the most?" Of course, the correct answer involves Bradman, Tendulkar and Muralitharan

    You are asking a person, of all the games in the world, for the one he likes most.

    Which game do you like most?
    The person may have said, "I play tennis, polo and golf." You use 'which' here to ask him, because you are asking him to make a choice from those three.
    Use 'which' when you are asking for information, and you are asking the person to pick out one or more things from a definite number of specified things or people etc.
    'What's your favourite food?"
    but, if you offer a box of chocolates with soft and hard centres,
    "Which one would you like?"
