    turn in deliverables

Please explain the following in bold in easy English.

    1. When we act in passive-aggressive ways, we are angry. Perhaps we resent the authority figure in the situation...... We show up late. We "misunderstand" instructions from the boss. We turn in deliverables late.

Especially, what's the meaning of "deliverable" there?

    2. Examples of hostility would include blowing up in a meeting, storming out, muttering under your breath and making threats. Hostility is about anger and acting out.

    Thank you.

Passive aggression is being aggressive in non-aggressive negative ways - not coming to work on time, not clearly understanding instruction, and not completing work properly. "Deliverables" are things like reports or letters.

When you are hostile to someone, the hostility can be shown by aggressive actions [storming out of a meeting, uttering threats, losing your temper]. It can be said that this behaviour is a form of acting out in a relatively harmless way a behaviour that could be dangerously aggressive.

    Thank you.
