    1."I will learn English" 2."I am going to learn English"

    Does the second statement constitute another 'simple future tense'?

    English doesn't have a future tense, Nolan. Rather it has many structures that are used to talk about the future.

    be (just) about to, may, might, need to, want to, have to, must, present simple for the future, present continuous for the future, would, ...
