    use of'in poroportion'

    Hi,

Does the second part of the following sentence sound right?
I want to convey here that, in the first case, if the asset value goes up or down 10%, the stock price also goes up or down 10%. In the second case if the asset price goes up or down 10%, the stock price, however, goes up 12% or down 8%, respectively.

'In the first case the stock price moves up or down in a proportion with the value of the asset. In the second case, the stock price moves up or down more than a proportion with the value of the asset. '

    Thanks,

    MG.

'In the first case, the stock price moves up or down in equal proportion to the value of the asset. In the second case, the stock price moves up or down in increased proportion to the value of the asset. '
