Question Doubt regarding the correct use of Wish and more...

Hi. Please help me to clarify this two issues:

    The Use of Wish:
    Sentence:
I'm very tired.I wish I were on vacation.
I'm very tired.I wish I was on vacation.

Are they correct? Is there any rule in the eng grammar?

The Use of "I" in Tag Question:
    Sentence:
I'm a nice person. Aren't I? Is this the correct form to say and write this tag question?

Is there any rules that determinates the usage of "Aren't I"

I belive those two forms are wrong.

Is the wish possible, or impossible? Just because you may not have any annual leave due so that you could take a holiday, would not make the idea that you could go on a holiday impossible, so:
I'm very tired.I wish I was on vacation.

" I wish I were Superman. I'd be able to fly off to some tropical island just for lunch!"

The Use of "I" in Tag Question:
    Sentence:
I'm a nice person. Aren't I? Is this the correct form to say and write this tag question?
    Yes.
A more stylised manner of speaking would be:
    I'm a nice person, am I not?

I believe those two forms are wrong.

    Which two?

I know what you mean here. If "I" is the subject then logically the question tag should be "Am I not" but it sounds so formal that it is not practical in most situations. What's more, there is no contraction for "am not" and we don't say "Amn't I?" Even though "aren't I" seems technically ungrammatical, it is considered correct.Well, it is correct, in fact.
Is there any rules that determinates the usage of "Aren't I"

Both are correct and both are in common use. Both express a counterfactual to "I'm not on vacation".
