The Use of Wish:
Sentence:
I'm very tired.I wish I were on vacation.
I'm very tired.I wish I was on vacation.
Are they correct? Is there any rule in the eng grammar?
Is the wish possible, or impossible? Just because you may not have any annual leave due so that you could take a holiday, would not make the idea that you could go on a holiday impossible, so:
I'm very tired.I wish I was on vacation.
" I wish I were Superman. I'd be able to fly off to some tropical island just for lunch!"
The Use of "I" in Tag Question:
Sentence:
I'm a nice person. Aren't I? Is this the correct form to say and write this tag question?
Yes.
A more stylised manner of speaking would be:
I'm a nice person, am I not?
I believe those two forms are wrong.
Which two?
