    demi-?

It was accessorised with a matching beret, slightly tilted to show Miss Bruni's signature demi-fringe.
    Dear Teacher,

What is the meaning of "demi"? I knew " fringe". Thanks!

    Re: demi-?

I'm not a teacher, but "demi" means "half", so it often refers to a miniature sized version of something, even if not literally an exact half size.
