    Cool Doctor by training

Does "Doctor by training" mean an experienced doctor, or only a doctor called so only because he's acquired some experience in healing but not with a career title?

    Thanks

    Re: Doctor by training

I would take it to mean that the person trained as a doctor but might not be in that career at the moment.
