    What is the difference?

    Hello.
    What is the difference?
    - We are coming so (that) you won't have to work so hard / ...so (that) you don't have to work so hard.
    - He is going to Harvard so he will get a good job. / ...so he gets a good job.
    Thanks

Are these sentences from a test??

I am surpried as in my opinion it should be:

He is going to Harvard in order to/to get a new job (same subject).
