    Cool Passive voice

    Hi,

I know that there are 2 passive voices in English ex:

He asked me a question will become: 1) A question was asked to me or 2) I was asked a question.

I also know that you also have 2 kinds of passive voices with the verbs: Send & offer & give. With which other verbs can I use 2 passive voices?

    Re: Passive voice

ask, pay, show, teach and tell are verbs which also can have two objects.

We were paid 200 to do the work.

    Re: Passive voice

Just a note to make - verbs that can take two objects (ie indirect and direct) are called ditransitive verbs.
