    Are these sentences right?

    Hi there,

I wonder if someone can help me with the following sentences 'cos I'm not sure if they are quite right.
    Thanks!!!

Iíve read a lot of/about (?) vampires and their stories

I write this letter because I want to explain to you some aspects of/about my new novel.
The name Dracula gives me a scary feeling
The police decided to go into/to (?) the forest.
I explain in my novel the transformation that count Dracula undergoes.
A morning I woke up with a lot of ideas in my head, so I decided to put them on paper.
Now I spend all the afternoons ordering my thoughts.
My personal view is that this may be a new phenomenon which can have a negative influence on the new generations of teenagers.

    Here are some ideas:

I have read a lot of stories about vampires.
I am writing this letter to explain some details about my new novel.
The name 'Dracula' sends shivers down my spine. (makes me feel scared).
The poilce decided to enter the forest. (decided to go into the forest).
In my novel, I explain/elucidate the transformation of Count Dracula (from.........to..........).
One morning (?) I woke up with a head full of ideas. I (immediately ?) decided to put them on paper/write them down.
Now I spend every afternoon ordering my thoughts.
I think this is a new phenomenon which could adversely affect generations of teenagers to come.

    Good luck !
