    set/goal

    Hi

Are these good sentences: I have set a difficult goal before me

    and

You made me dirty (that's why my clothes/face are dirty now)

    It's not a good sentence, I'm afraid.

'I have set myself a difficult goal', is better.

If you have set yourself the goal, it is naturally 'before you', and you do not need to include these words.
