    where can we use "in which" or "in that" ?

    You find "in which" but not "in that"in a relative clause:

    He's multilingual but the language in which he expresses himself the best is English.

    Here is an example of in that:

    Here it means something like "in this sense, that..."

    Wiki is unusual among group communication mechanisms in this sense, that it allows the organization of contributions to be edited in addition to the content itself. ...

    or

    What is unusual about Wiki is that it allows the organization of contributions to be edited etc
