    Question capitalization of proper nouns

    Is ti correct to capitalize words such as music, math, science etc. bcause they are proper nouns. The word "English" should always be capitalized because it is a language. How about the subjects in school, do they need to be capitalized?

    No. They are capitalized when used in a name, such as :

    Department of Mathematics.

    Diploma of Applied Science

    Conservatory of Music
