    Is this a correct phrase

    I have been unsure about the correct way of writing the following phrase. Which version is the correct one: Version a or Version b?

    Version a - 'Laughs best who laughs last'

    Version b - 'Laughs best who last laughs'

    I"m pretty sure that I've always heard it as "He who laughs last, laughs best."
