    meaning

    Hi,

could you please tell me what "facilitate" could mean in the following text (seems to be a noun):

... study of the facilitate Imatinib blood level tests for patients participating in the project (Imatinib is a pharmaceutical)

    Thanks a lot!

Would you please post the beginning of the sentence too? Facilitate is usually a verb, but maybe if I read the whole sentence, I could make better sense of it.

    Re: meaning

It is a definition of a contractual term:

Pharmacologic Monitoring shall mean the study of the facilitate Imatinib blood level tests for patients participating in the Project and not responding as predicted.

    Re: meaning

It looks as if there may be a typo and that it should be "facilitated".

And "facilitated" would refer to "tests" or "Imatinib"?

    Re: meaning

I would take it as the Imatinib blood level tests.

Is it possible to have more background to this? Medical stuff is often very language specific and its context is important.
