    Question Sign for Letter Writer

What should the signature block look like when the person that dictated the letter is not available to sign the letter?

    Thank you!

You can 'pp' it, in other words, 'per pro'. Someone else signs (sometimes a secretary, sometimes a person with authority), and they write pp against the typed named of the author of the letter.
