    Can you live with it?

    Hi,

What does the phrase ‘Can you live with it ?' mean? How should one use it in daily conversations?

    Thanks,

    MG.

    A context would be helpful.

However, it could be asked of someone if they are likely to be faced with something they do not like very much.

I know you do not like that colour, but can you live with it?

    Anglika,

Thanks. I was not happy with the font used in a presentation put together by my colleagues and me. One of them said, “but, can you live with it?”, and as we were running late, I said okay.
Now I am thinking, did I agree to use the font only for that presentation or for all presentations here after.

    Hi, Musicgold!

Because each presentation is unique, I would think you could make any changes you want in future presentations. Can you live with that?

    Cheers,
