    Compound sentences and the conjunction yet

    When joining two sentences with the conjunction, yet, do you precede the word with a comma or a semi-colon?

    Remember the word "fanboys" because, in general, a comma is used with these conjuctions:

    for
    and
    nor
    but
    or
    yet
    so
