    here is an example :

    Mr. and Mrs. Peterson
    Mr. and Mrs. Prest
request the honour of your presence
    at the marriage of
    Penelope Peterson
    to
    Mr. George Prest

on Friday, the ninth of June
    Two thousand and eight
    at twelve o`clock
    Saint Mary`s Church
    San Francisco
    and afterwards at
    "The Gulls", Belvedere
    R.S.V.P.
    374 Taylor Drive
    San Francisco, California.

    or

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lewis of Waterbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia, to Stephen Armstrong, also of Waterbury. The couple will be married on January, 21.

There might be some other ways of writing a wedding invitation card.
