    "the brothers"?

suppose there is a group of kids and in this group there is a boy and a girl that are children from the same father and mother. none of the other kids have familiar bonds with each other.

is there a general term to distinguish these two kids from the other ones?

    are they ''the brothers''?

are they ''the brother and sister"?
