    likely

Is the following sentence correct? How can I put it some other way? Can I say : He might come or He may come?

He is likely to come today.

How high is the level of uncertainty in this case?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Teia,

"He is likely to come today", indicates that there is a strong possibility that he will come today.

"He might/may come", is much less certain.

    Re: likely

There is a good chance that he will come today.
    He will probably come today.

(There is more than a 50% chance that it will happen.)

    Hi Bhaisahab!

Thank you for your quick reply. Is there any modal verb I can use instead of is likely ?

    Thank you again.

As RonBee suggested, "He will probably come today" is a good alternative.
