    what does 'house' mean?

    Hello, everybody.

I find this sentence just from this forum (Ask a Teacher):
Please note, all posts are moderated by our in-house language experts, so make sure your suggestions, help, and advice house the kind of information an international language teacher would offer.

But I don't know the exact meaning of the sentence, especially the word house. And I don't know the meaning of 'the kind of information an international language teacher would offer.'

    Can you help me?

    Thhanks.

"in house" means within, conducted within, or utilizing an organization's own staff or resources rather than external or nonstaff facilities.

"The kind of information an international language teacher would offer" = your help is grammatically and/or semantically correct and based on proper knowledge of the language.

    Re: what does 'house' mean?

I suspect that the "house" that sannyy is finding difficult to understand is the following one:

".. make sure your suggestions, help, and advice house the kind of information an international language teacher would offer ...."

In this context, I believe the verb "house" means "contain"

With refererence to: 'the kind of information an international language teacher would offer', I would read as meaning that the advice should bear in mind the strict rules used by such teachers when setting exam papers, which would not necessarily be the same rules that the layperson would use.

    Hope this helps.
