    english grammar help...

    a) Girls and boys like playing with train sets conjunction
    b) Donít put the ashtray on the table preposition
    c) They walked down the street hand in hand noun
    d) She is a very clever woman adjective
    e) She listens to the radio in the mornings verb
    f) He should go and see a doctor verb auxiliary

    is this right?

    a) I havenít spoken to him yet - present perfect continuous
    b) Did you go to the pub last night? - past perfect
    c) Theyíre living in Paris now - simple present continuous
    d) I didnít know that I hadnít locked the door - past perfect
    e) Iíve been thinking of leaving him for ages - past perfect continuous
    f) John Lennon was murdered by Mark Chapman - past perfect

    how about this?

    a) I haven’t spoken to him yet - present perfect continuous [no! - present perfect simple]
    b) Did you go to the pub last night? - past perfect [ no! - simple past]
    c) They’re living in Paris now - simple present continuous - - present continuous tense
    d) I didn’t know that I hadn’t locked the door - past perfect [ no! - past tense simple]
    e) I’ve been thinking of leaving him for ages - past perfect continuous [ no! - present perfect continuous]
    f) John Lennon was murdered by Mark Chapman - past perfect [ no! -simple past passive]

    how about this?
    and - conjunction
    on - preposition
    street - noun
    clever - adjective
    listen - verb
    should - modal verb
