    motion and movement

I wonder what is the difference between these words, please.
is "motion" a continuous movement in one direction?
can I say "I saw the scene in slow 'movement' " instead of "slow motion"?

    Re: motion and movement

I suppose technically you could, but the collocation is "slow motion". In my mind, a movement is an action and motion is a continuing action.
