    Got or Gotten?

    Hi,

    This is the context I'm most concerned with:

    "He fixed the fence where Jack had got/gotten out."

    What should it be?

    Now I get
    Yesterday I got
    Tomorrow I will get
    I have gotten
    I had gotten
    I will have gotten...(by next week)
    I could have gotten...if...

    get S1 W1 past tense got, past participle got British English, gotten American English present participle getting
