    Re: correct sentence(s)

    Hi,
This is my first ever post! I've thought about your question and this is the best I can come up with:

He was so bothered by the expert's comments concerning the stock market that he was unable to sleep all night.

    Hi estrellita-bonita

    Welcome on board.

Why do you think 1 and 2 are inappropriate?

Maybe 1&2 are grammatical correct, but don't sound natural to you native speakers.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Re: correct sentence(s)

Hi, thanks for the welcome ,

Yes, you are right that strictly speaking sentences 1 and 2 are not grammatically incorrect, but they sound a little awkward to a native speaker. They're probably more appropriate to spoken rather than written english.

    Re: correct sentence(s)

Just as an aside, use "thet stock market" not "stock-market."

You need the article, and it has no hyphen.
